Scott Allan Linza was born February 25, 1975 to Gary and Connie Linza in Charleston, South Carolina. Scott was a typical kid - active in basketball, his family's church activities, and playing piano (since age 5). Scott wrote his first song at the age of fifteen for a friend. At the age of eighteen while attending college, he made the decision to give his life to Christ. Scott attended college at Appalachian Bible College in West Virginia but after one semester dropped out to join the United States Air Force to pursue a career in the Culinary Arts. While stationed in Guam for his first tour, Scott participated in a Christmas Concert hosted by the base Chapel. In 2004, while deployed to the desert Scott led a weekly Praise and Worship Service for all denominations to come and worship at the Chapel. In early 1997, Scott met his wife Michelle and was married on October 28. Scott and Michelle have been blessed with four wonderful children: Brandon, Baron, Sierrah, and Joseph. Scott has been involved with the local church ministry since 1997 as a keyboard player in the band. In 2007, Scott’s first worship song was sung in his church, and soon there were other songs to follow. Scott and Michelle have written songs together, including “I Call On You” from his debut CD Project. The ministry of Scott and Michelle have been said that they are the “real deal”. That their heart goes into everything that their hands touch. Scott and Michelle believe that everyone has a God given destiny to be lived to the fullest measure. |
